I have developed experience in the intersection of leadership, communication and strategic planning as a research and curriculum designer, academic and career advisor, faculty mentor, assessment coordinator, leadership certificate director, and organizational communication consultant.

    I use Email, Canvas and Zoom.

    Learn with the intent to apply your understanding and continuously improve. Deep reflection supports successful and effective leadership.

  • What is the value of an advanced degree in today’s work environment?

    Consider your goals. What is your vision? How does this intersect with your knowledge, skills and attributes/abilities? Identify your values and passion. Where do these overlap with the needs of today's world? Your degree supports you in achieving your goals.

  • What advice would you give to your online students?

    Communicate openly and frequently. Build relationships with peers and faculty. Leadership is relational and a life-long journey.

  • What is the one book you think everyone should read?

    “Dare to Lead” by Brené Brown.
