Online MA – History Admission Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in history, political science, English, anthropology, sociology, philosophy, social studies or secondary education from an accredited institution
  • Applicants with a bachelor’s degree in other disciplines must submit a statement of purpose for pursuing graduate studies in history
  • Overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 in the last 90 quarter or 60 semester-graded postsecondary credit hours**
  • Transcripts from all previous colleges/universities attended

Students will polish work they have done in previous courses to make it publishable.
